Ons sien uit om jou te verwelkom op Matieland! Indien jy wil aansoek doen vir Helshoogte is dit belangrik dat jy die plasingsproses verstaan:

1. Doen aansoek vir die Universiteit op die aanlyn of papier aansoekvorm (www.maties.com).
2. Op die aansoek vir Universiteit, Maak seker dat jy Helshoogte merk as jou eerste keuse op die vorm/web-aansoek.

Hoe werk die plasingsproses (kortliks)?

1. Eerste reserverings geskied op grond van akademiese kriteria
2. Die plasingsproses sluit einde Oktober af, en indien jy nie in a) gekwalifiseer het nie, kan jy jouself op ‘n waglys registreer.
3. Met in aggenome diversiteitsfaktore word plasings totdat die US in 2018 in aanvang neem, en daarna deurlopend vanaf die waglys gedoen, op grond van plekke wat oopgaan agv kansellasies.
4. Plasings in spesifieke koshuise kan ongelukkig nie gewaarborg nie.

1. Complete the University application form online or in paper format.
2. On this application for University, ensure that you mark Helshoogte as your first choice on the form or web-application.

How does the Placement process work (in brief)?

1. First reservations are done on the grounds of academic criteria.
2. The Placements process is complete by end of October, should you not have qualiaifed in a) you can place yourself on the waiting list.
3. With consideration towards diversity factors placements are done from the waiting list until the University begins in 2018 and thereafter continuously on the basis of open places.
4. Placements in a specific residence can unfortunately not be guaranteed.
