After countless entries from other Helshoogters, the difficult decision to choose just one of those photos was made. At the annual Hanedinee award ceremony on the 7th of October, Michal Venter was announced as the winner of Helshoogte's Photo of the year competition. The house was tasked with submitting three of their best Helshoogte related pictures ranging from 2017 to 2019 to gain entrance into the competition, with the grand prize being a GoPro Hero7 valued up to R8000.

MGD.
Helshoogte and Serruria accepted the MAD² Community Service Challenge from Huis Francie and Hippokrates. We took the cake we get in the exam time to the homeless shelter in Stellenbosch.

This year Helshoogte added a whole new dimension to Le Coq de Republique by having a Beer Fest theme. The event was held on the 27th of September at Helshoogte on the Tokkie. Although the day started out with the usual rainy Le Coq weather we all got used to over the past three years, the skies opened up half an hour before the start of the event.
